Michael Nosek

Michael Nosek (*1990) is a Czech artist who graduated from the Painting Studio III at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In his work he explores individual identity through the medium of painting, where the individual’s introspective view and the resulting feeling of anxiety transforms obsessively realistic painting into mask. This process of changing matter is likely the artist’s subconscious effort to objectivize his starting point.
