Peter Nižňanský

Peter Nižňanský (1956) focuses primarily on creating sculptures and statues, both monumental and small-scale, and occasionally also reliefs and medals. His sculptures are masterfully modeled and brilliantly executed, mainly in tin or bronze. He achieves the characteristic tone of his works through his unique approach to sculptural material. Nižňanský’s work can be found in the collections of the Ministry of Culture and in many private collections around the world. He presents his sculptures both at solo exhibitions in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and abroad (Chicago, Paris, Dijon, Reims, Toulouse, Nice, etc.), as well as in many group exhibitions of Czech and Slovak artists. He is a member of the Q Association. He lives and works in Prague.
