Die klassizistischen Strukturen

Martina Smutná (*1989) is studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. As part of her studies, she also completed a one-year internship in Jiří Černický’s painting studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, and currently has an internship in a guest studio of the Academy of Fine Arts with Nicole Wermers. In her work to date, she has focused almost exclusively on painting: last year she moved from personal content closer to social issues, with fleeting memories replacing specific information. It deals with the current culture of living, historical tradition and ideals.
In the Berlinskej Model she will present paintings created during an internship in Germany.
