Eliška Konečná

Eliška Konečná (*1992) is a Czech artist who emphasis on material and craftsmanship in her work, on elements that are meant to serve as guarantees of a basic understanding. Her intent is not to thematize specific objects or events of the external world as objects or contents of the work carrying other external references and layers of meaning, but rather to capture reality in the specific language of a work of art as a way of communicating or describing one’s own perception.
