Silvina Arismendi (*1976) is an Uruguaynian artist who received a scholarship to study in the Czech Republic in 2000. She graduated from the Painting Studio of Vladimir Skrepl and Jiri Kovanda at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where she received her MFA in 2007. She is also a founder of the gallery parásito, a curatorial platform for cultural exchange between Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe.
