Objects of Interest
Ján Šipöcz is a Bratislava based photographer who graduated from the Photography Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava in 2009 under the direction of Filip Vanča. He was a finalist in the most prestigious award for artists under 35 in Slovakia, the Oskár Čepan Award in 2011. At the Berlinskej Model he will present his newest work under the title Objects of Interest. This work references his previous projects in which the artist obsessively and programmatically records his surroundings which fascinate and intoxify him.
